I had the privilege of working side by side with Adri Martín at Freepik, and I can honestly say he’s one of those rare professionals who leave a lasting impact. Adri started from scratch and single-handedly built the entire Salesforce project at Freepik's, turning it into a solid, scalable system and becoming a technical and leadership reference in the team. And once he had “beaten the game,” he made the bold move to step away, empower others to take the lead, and challenge himself with a brand-new project using a tech stack he was less familiar with — all in the name of growth. Detail-oriented, effective, efficient, and a natural leader. Those of us who’ve worked with him wouldn’t hesitate to do it again — and more than that, we’d fully trust him to lead any team. I’ve known Adri for many years, and beyond his tech knowledge and background, what really stands out to me is that he’s an incredible CTO — it’s rare to find someone who understands the business side as deeply as he does. He’s passionate about challenges and is relentlessly driven to add value. If a project doesn’t excite him or push him to learn, he’ll quickly lose interest. That’s why you want him on board for any big, ambitious initiative — because he’ll match that ambition with his own. More than half of the AI tools I know, I know because of him. He’s ridiculously into this stuff — thankfully, he explains everything to me. Honestly, having him around is a privilege. He’s one of the best professionals I’ve ever worked with.

I was fortunate to have Adri on the CRM team at Freepik, where he led the most technical side of the Salesforce implementation. It was no easy task — the data model had to be built from scratch, and we were dealing with contact volumes in the tens of millions. The CRM team was small at the time, yet the project was executed flawlessly and in record time. I wouldn’t hesitate to work with him again on any similar project. He’s a guarantee of success.
